About Doruk
Doruk Turhan Karahan is a Barrister and Managing Partner of Barbaros Law Firm, advising and representing clients across contentious and non-contentious matters with particular interests in company, digital and criminal law. His practice combines legal analysis, strategic advisory work and litigation with a commercially focused understanding of modern business and technological environments.
Doruk completed his legal studies at Queen Mary University of London and subsequently undertook his professional Bar training at BPP University in London. In 2025, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. His legal education and professional development in London provided a strong foundation in English legal practice, advocacy and the common-law tradition.
Alongside legal practice, Doruk is the Founder and CEO of NexGen Systems (NGS), established in 2021. His work in artificial intelligence, automation and technology integration has focused particularly on professional-services organisations and the implementation of systems designed to improve efficiency, client experience and operational performance.
His experience across law, technology and business provides an interdisciplinary perspective on contemporary legal and commercial challenges, particularly where corporate structures, digital systems, emerging technologies and regulatory considerations intersect.
